Hi Vince. In my last blog post, I mentioned the Reits that I would be watching out for their earnings results. These are some of the counters that I owned. I would reveal more when the counters that I owned announce their results. I used to just look at the yield which led me to buy Sabana. A very costly mistake. Now besides current yield, some of the stuff that I look at are past few years'dpu records, nav, gearing, and read the latest annual report to learn more about it's properties and upcoming activities for the company. I would also backtest the dividend yield that I would receive based on my interest price.
I read through ur previous poats. Besides mgcct, all ur holding are quarterly dividend type. You get very good price u bought ur suntec reit at avg price 1.2x. How long have you been investing?
My stock portfolio is more for long-term regular income so I like Reits. I have my fair share of hits and misses though. I have Sembcorp Ind bought at $5 which was an impulse buy. I only started to get more serious in stocks in recent years. The length of our investment journey doesn't reflect how good we are. I am still learning. :)
I too like Reit for their regular dividend. I have created a Google sheet to track sreit fundamental. If you don't mind to share your email, we can discuss more on that.
Sure, would like to check out your google sheet if possible. My email is tlim1977@gmail.com. I have also updated this email add in my blogger profile. If I don't reply, can drop a comment here to read the email. I use the email for blogging and google sheet so I don't check for mails regularly. :P
I see you are into SREIT, mind to share what you are holding ?
ReplyDeleteAlso what are key points you look into when selecting sreit ?
